So popular!

Since Will arrived almost 8 weeks ago, we have become quite popular! It is funny how a baby makes people want to visit...as if we weren't cool enough before. :) Anyway, we've enjoyed all of our visitors and look forward to more in the future. First came Grandma Charma who spent time helping us adjust to life as new parents (not an easy feat). Then Auntie Jill arrived. She discovered Will's love of dance, which has been a great relief during those crying fits. Grandma Janene came in September and was nice enough to babysit while Keith and I went on our first post-baby date. Finally Aunt Karen came to town last week. She got here just in time for Will's active smiling and cooing phase. Lucky her!

The Wonderful World of William

Welcome to our family blog! Here's the main attraction...William. Most of this blog will be devoted to him but I'll be sure to post any exciting happenings for his parents as well! He is now 7 weeks old and is growing like a weed! We are having so much fun getting to know one another. Will and I get to stay home together all day while Daddy is at work. We play and eat (a lot!) and try to fit in a nice, long nap or two. Then when Keith gets home from work, it is his turn to take over as baby entertainer. Overall Will is a good baby, although he has his moments of general fussiness. He is now around 21 inches long and weighs 9 lbs or so. He is starting to stretch out and loves to put all of his weight on his legs, as if he is standing. He's quite strong! He is also "talking" a lot more now and is starting to smile. (I've tried in vain to get a photo of this but the best I can get is a smirk!) The cats still want nothing to do with him but we're hoping they'll come around in time. All in all, we are one happy family!
