9

So I'm a tad behind in posting but wanted to mark a milestone for Archer: he turned 9 months old on April 11th. My how time flies! The past 9 months have brought so many changes; some good, some bad, all interesting. :) Recently Archer has been babbling up a storm, throwing out a lot of "word like" sounds. I think his first "mama" or maybe even a "dada" is right around the corner (although I'm voting for "mama" first). He is also waiting not-so-patiently to start walking. He's been pulling up on furniture and human legs for a while and is crusing a bit. He has started to stand briefly on his own too, but as soon as he realizes he isn't hanging on to anything, he sits right down. Too funny. He is very determined. And it will come soon enough! Then I'll really have my hands full. The boys continue to enjoy each other's company. They truly crack each other up! It's fun to watch them interact and see their faces light up when they see each other.
Will is also doing well. He has been on spring break this week so Aunt Jill came to spend the week with us. It has been fun having another distraction (besides Mommy!) in the house, even though today when Jill went to sit by Will, he asked if she could leave him alone. LOL! He continues to entertain us all with his antics. The other night after I put Will to bed, I heard him in his room calling for me. So I went in to check on him and he was upset because his ears didn't work...ie: he couldn't hear our conversation in the living room. He said "my ears ran out of gas"! hahaha Love it. And last night he had a total 3 year old moment when he threw a fit because we didn't have any red popsicles. The purple one I tried to substitute "just wasn't good for me". Oh my! The things that child says! Otherwise, all is good with Will. Preschool is going well and we're looking forward to Easter this weekend. It has been nice having Keith around for a month and a half! (what?!?!) We could almost get used to this (but we won't...we know better!) :)
I'll be updating with soccer pics and pics from Will's spring program at school soon so check back!
